Finally with help of our Municipality of Palilula – says Dragoslav Milosavljevic, coordinator of group of citizens which leads initiative for planning of Lalinac, got a object for gathering of our youth, for meetings of citizens but and for organizing manifestation in culture and sports. With building of bridge, the access road as and installing streets lights, which is from year 1961 it is not reconstructed, village Lalinac according to the Milosavljevic, is much more closer to the city. Currently there is activities with management of municipality on making of concept of project of regulation of sewerage system in the village, that will be found as our proposition of priorities for new investment activities in 2011.
City Municipality of Palilula successfully continues activities on planning of settlements both in the urban and rural area. Although that jurisdiction of city municipalities of the City of Nis is limited management of this organization of local government successfully achieves own strategy of development with support of donors and funds from the project. “We believe that our position and natural resources should be properly rescaled - highlights president of the Municipality, Prof. Dr. Igor Novakovic. We want to improve the lives of residents in both urban and village. We invest in infrastructure, development of organic farming, small and medium enterprises, rural tourism, strive to attract new investments on this area. “ It is unacceptable not to invest in the maintenance of facilities that the city took from the citizens and allows their destruction – highlights president Novakovic. There are numerous examples of neglect in rural areas, especially when it comes of places as Cultural centers, citizens offices, schools… In the opinion of Igor Novakovic, “if we want to go back life in the village, to prevent future migration of population, for new investment projects it is needed to improve quality of life of remaining population in those settlements”. Examples from Palilula, although isolated, encouraging and indicated a new stage of development of the resources boom industry forgotten and neglected.
